Allahabad, April 20: The exams of 4th and 6th semester of Law (honours) which was held at AU centre on April 18 (Wednesday) has been cancelled by the authorities of Allahabad University. According to the TOI reports, the exams have been cancelled due to mass copying by the examinees. Due to this mass copying issue, the exams of these two semesters which was scheduled to be held on April 20 (today), has been postponed by the University authorities.
On Thursday, in an urgent meeting of the examination committee at the Allahabad University campus, the members of the committee decided that due to the reports of mass copying the exams of 4th and 6th semester of Law (honours) has been cancelled. The fresh dates for these exams would be announced later by the controller of exams, as per as reports.
According to the sources, the varsity authorities have decided that the exams for Law 4th semester would now be held in the afternoon session i.e. from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. The exams of Law 6th semester would now be held in the morning session i.e. 7:00 to 10:00 am.
On Wednesday, the flying squad of AU, while inspecting the exam centre of the law faculty had found several of the examinees indulged in mass copying.
