Andhra Pradesh Police Recruitment  Board (APSLPRB) has notified that AP Police constable mains exam 2016 will be held from December 1, 2016. The aspirants are also required to download the hall tickets for mains exam. Aspirants who cleared the AP Police Recruitment Prelims exam will be able to download the admit cards from November 25. Candidates will also be required to carry their admit card on the exam date AP Police constable mains exam. Aspirants are also required to note that the minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify in the Preliminary Written Test in the paper is 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs & 30% for SCs/ STs/ Ex Servicemen.

Andhra Pradesh Police Recruitment  Board APSLPRB the aspirants are also  required to clear the Physical Measurements Test (PMT) and for the post of Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for Warder (Female). The Andhra Pradesh Police Constable Exam consists of Preliminary Written Test, Physical Measurements Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Final Written Examination. In  the AP Police Recruitment Prelims exam, about 3,86472 candidates had appeared, out of which 1,16,127 candidates have been shortlisted for physical test examination 2016. APSLPRB had earlier released a notification for the recruitment of 4,548 posts for SCT Police constable (Civil) (Men & Women) which included 3,216 posts of Police Constable (Civil), 1,067 posts of Police Constable (AR), 240 Warder (Male) and 25 posts for Warder (Female). While downloading the admit card on November 25 for the  post of AP Police Constable, candidates will be required to enter their roll number, registration number and other details. It would be beneficial for the aspirants to take out the print out of the details. Aspirants must save the copy of the print out of the admit card for the future reference. AP police final exam for the post of SCT Police Constable (civil) (Men and Women) Warder(Men and Women) will need to prepare topics from English Arithmetic or General Science. AP police final exam paper will be  of 200 marks, for the post of SCT Police COnstable (AR) (Men and Women), topics which need to be covered include General Awareness, current event, test of Reasoning/ Mental Ability which is of 100 marks. Andhra Pradesh Police had come under direct control of Department of Home Affairs, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The Andhra Pradesh Police will be headed by Director General of Police (DGP). The number of candidates who applied for online application form for the  posy of SCT Sub Inspecor of Police (Communication).is 13. 535 while number of candidates who attended for PMT/PET/Verification of certificates is 8348.  Aspirants who will be appearing for Andhra Pradesh Police force are required to note the Andhra Pradesh police comes under direct control of Department of Home Affairs, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
