The demise of Former President APJ Abdul Kalam triggered a wave of mourning over the entire nation. The social media portals like Facebook and Twitter flooded with the condolences and tributes in the form of sharing memories, images, quotes and poetry. The great Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, popularly known as “Missile Man” or “People’s President”. He passed away during a lecture at  Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong on July 27, 2015, eve. The former President collapsed of pain and was rushed to hospital immediately. At the hospital he was declared to be brought dead after the efforts of revival the news was made official. Since then, the entire nation is under the state of shock and sadness. PM Narendra Modi posted a series of Tweets at the demise of APJ Abdul Kalam saying “India mourns the loss of a great scientist, a wonderful President & above all an inspiring individual. RIP Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.”  “Dr. Kalam…my mind is filled with so many memories, so many interactions with him. The last rites of Kalam are going to take place with military honours at Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu, which is his home town on July 30, 2015. The home ministry in a statement confirmed that APJ Kalam would be accorded a state funeral and the last rites would take place at 11 a.m. on July 30.
