Institute of Medical Science, Banaras University have invited applications for admission to various courses for the session 2017. For admission to its various Under graduate, Post Graduate and Diploma/Certificate programmes for the Academic Session 2017-18, the university invites online application from eligible candidates. The online application form and other required details will be available on the University Entrance Test Portal i.e.www.bhuonline.in from February 2, 2017. The last date of online application is March 4, 2017.
Most probably, the exam will be conducted in the month of May 2017. And, the candidates those who want to apply for NEET 2017 MBBS course should know that they are required to submit the score card of NEET 2017 within 15 days after the declaration of the results.
Other eligibility criteria like the candidate should have passed 10+2 / HSC with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum 50% marks of average marks. And candidate’s age limit must be 17 years at the time of admission or on Dec 31, 2017.
Last year, 15% of total 84 MBBS seats i.e.13 seats were filled up through All India Quota (for central counselling). The remaining 85% i.e. 71 seats were available for registrants of BHU MBBS/BDS Course 2017 and was filled up through IMS, BHU counselling. This year, 71 seats (tentatively) will be distributed for MBBS course.
The fee for registration to UG Courses was Rs.1000/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs.600/- for PC, SC & ST candidates.
