Patna, May 31: This year, Bihar Board Result 2017 has turned out as a tremor for the students. The BSEB Class 12th Topper 2016 that arose a year after prompted the Bihar School Examination Board in taking the strict provisions against growing cheating cases and scams that results in just 32 percent candidates have passed Class XII Exam this years. Approximately, 12.40 lakhs have failed the exam. A lot of vigilant steps were taken up by the board because of BSEB’s Class XII results in which allegations of brazen favouritism were made against Bihar Board in helping the undeserving student. This issue came in limelight when, Ruby Rai of Vishnu Roy Inter College, Vaishali was unable to answer very simple questions from her syllabus in TV interviews.
In this year 2017, BSEB chairman Anand Kishor communicated that pass percentage went down by a staggering 32%, and despite moderation, apparently the reason is the introduction of barcoding in answer sheets and strict invigilation. “Students who’ve failed should not think this is the end of their lives. Those eligible for the compartmental exam will get another chance to improve their scores. Hard work should be their mantra as there is no shortcut to success,” Kishor said.
