New Delhi: The Border Security Force (BSF) is inviting applicants for General Duty (GD) positions in the BSF sports quota. As per the official notification, the last date to register is November 4. The selection process aims to fill 391 vacancies for both men and women. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for document verification, a physical standard test, and a detailed medical examination. There are a total of 391 General Duty (GD) vacancies: 197 vacant positions for men and 194 for women. The interested candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 23. However, age relaxation may be given to those belonging to reserved categories as per the recruitment rules. The height and chest size of male candidates should be at least 170 cm and 80 cm, respectively. On the other hand, female candidates’ height should be at least 157 cm.
The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the process of document verification, followed by the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). They’ll be provided with a remuneration of Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month. In addition, the selected ones will also be eligible to get the Central Government allowances. The BSF application window will close on November 4.
