BPSC Recruitment 2020: Apply For 31 Assistant Engineer Posts From March 11 on bpsc.bih.nic.in

BPSC Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2020: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited applications for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Road Construction Department of the Government of Bihar. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on bpsc.bih.nic.in, from March 11.

The online application process will conclude on March 25, while the fee payment window will be active till March 31. A total of 31 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.

In order to be eligible, candidates should be at least 31 years of age. The upper age limit, meanwhile, is 37 for men and 40 for women (in case of general category candidates). For the reserved category, meanwhile, the upper age is 42 years. Also, age will be calculated as on August 1.

Additionally, an applicant should have a degree level in civil engineering of education from an All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-approved institute.

While applying candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 750. Those from the Bihar region and falling in the reserved category and female candidates will have to pay Rs 200 as application fee.

The selection will be made and candidates recommended for the post, on the basis of a written exam. Candidates need to score a minimum of 40% to be successful in the exam. The pass mark criteria will be different for different reserved groups.
