Patna, Jun 1: After the declaration of poor Bihar Board BSEB 12th Intermediate Result 2017, shocking students turned violent and protested outside Bihar Board office and other district offices. The aggressive students out of which many students have even qualified JEE Mains Exam and other competitive exam have failed board exam. It is unexpected news and unbelievable for them and they have demanded to see their answer sheets as well as details of the teachers who have checked the answer sheets. As per data analysis, approximately 12.40 lakh have appeared for the intermediate exam. Out of which, only 4.37 lakh or 35.25% have passed the board exam.

The failed candidates are becoming anxious and want an explanation from Bihar Board. A large number of students have assembled at the BSEB office gate and enforcing the BSEB employees to stay inside or provide the proper justification over the bad result. The traffic outside the BSEB Office increased at an alarming rate as more and more students joined the protest till the afternoon.  Rapid Action Force (RAF) reinforcements were called up and they too even failed to control the situation, the police had to resort to lathi charge at least three times. On approaching one of the students, who secured 201 marks out of 500 has failed in English and Chemistry but have qualified JEE Mains. He added, “My future is uncertain. Another student Ompriya from Jamui had qualified a marine entrance examination but failed the Class 12 chemistry paper. “I got just 10 marks in theory and 24 in chemistry practicals. I have failed, and now my marine engineering prospects are ruined,” he added.

“We want to know who evaluated our copies and if they were really more capable than us,” said Dimple Kumari.

Bihar Board officials are on silent mode and no one communicated with the aggressive students and tried to resolve their queries. “The board is for the students. We want justice and will fight till the last. The board cannot ruin our future,” Shah added.
