The registrations for the Common Admission Test CAT 2017 will commence from August 9, 2017.  This year the management entrance exam would be conducted on Sunday November 26, 2017.  It is expected that more than 2 lakh aspirants would be applying for the exam.To ensure that the MBA aspirants fulfill the eligibility criteria they will be required to go through the official notification which has been released by IIM Lucknow. For registering for CAT exam 2017, the aspirants must be a graduate and as per the notification it is mandatory for them to have secured a minimum of 50% at their graduation degree to qualify.

According to the CAT 2017 notification aspirants who have secured CGPA of 45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories, awarded by any University or educational institution will be eligible to apply.  Other students who can apply for the CAT 2017 are those aspirants who are currently pursuing their undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification examination. It would compulsory for the aspirants to note that they would be required to fulfill any one of the eligibility criteria such as bachelor’s degree with the required percentage of marks, professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with required percentage, should be in the final year of Bachelor’s degree with required percentage. The SC / ST / PWD candidates will need to have minimum 45% to apply. The notification has clearly mentioned that an aspirant should not only fulfill the eligibility criteria but also clear all the stages of CAT 2017 selection procedure.
