New Delhi, Jan 9: The results for CAT 2017 were declared on Monday. Out of 1.9 lakh candidates who took CAT 2017, 20 have scored a perfect 100 percentile. What’s interesting to note this year is that among these 20 are two female and three non-engineer candidates. In CAT 2016, all the top 20 candidates were male and engineers, said IIM Lucknow. Among these top 20 is Patrick D’Souza (41), a tutor from Mumbai, who has scored a 100 percentile for the fourth time this year. D’Souza first took CAT in 1996. As quoted by Times of India, D’Souza says that some of his candidates manage to score above 99 percentile every year. He takes CAT to stay abreast with the trends in the examination. Chhavi Gupta, an IIT-Delhi M-tech graduate, is among the two female candidates to have scored a perfect 100. Also Read - Hyderabad Software Engineer Stabbed At Home By Her Stalker

Among the top scorers are IIT Madras boy Sai Praneet Reddy, Patna’s Sidharth Kumar, Kolkata’s Vishal Vohra, Meet Aggarwal from Surat and coaching master Patrick DSouza from Mumbai who has bagged the perfect score for the fourth time.

CAT was conducted in two shifts on November 26. A total of 199,632 candidates appeared for the exam which was conducted in test centres spread across 140 cities.
