CAT 2018: The results for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2018 is likely to be released in the second week of January 2019. The results will most probably be released by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). However, the candidates must know that these are the tentative dates.

While the IIM CAT 2018 examination was held on November 25, the admit card for the same was released a month back, that is, on October 24.

The examination was moderate this year. However, candidates and coaching centres in the city found the question papers in slot one and two to be lengthy. The passages were of a moderate length and were based on- Biology, Environment, History, Sociology, etc. The test had four 5-Q passages and one 4-Q passage which was a bit different from the expected 6-Q and 3-Q passages.

The CAT exam is held to secure admission in coveted Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) apart from other MBA colleges across the country. The IIM CAT exam tests candidates’ proficiency in three subjects: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning; and Quantitative Ability.
