CBSE Board Exam 2019: The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct board exams in February this year on. The exam schedule for the same will be out by next week, Indian Express reported board as telling. Students must note that exams for Skill Education (Vocational) and related subjects will also be held in the second half of February.

The decision to conduct exams in February comes after HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar directed the CBSE and the Delhi University to comply with Delhi HC’s order given on July 11, 2018. The order said that from the commencing academic session, it should be ensured that the results of CBSE, including results of re-evaluation, “are taken into account whilst determining the cut-off date for admission to colleges of the University of Delhi,” the newspaper reported.

The board will also declare the results that include main and reevaluation, earlier so students don’t face problems in getting admissions in degree courses in universities across India. It must be noted that in 2017, the board exams were conducted from March to April. Further, around 10 lakh students sat for the exams.
