The CBSE Board Exams for the academic year 2016-17 are underway. Tomorrow, that is March 20, 2017 is going to be a big day as lakhs of students get ready to write the Mathematics paper for CBSE Class 12 Board Examination 2017. The CBSE Maths paper has traditionally known to leave students and parents worried before the exam. Past year’s Mathematics paper had created a furore and left many students crying. The increased concern, hence, surrounding the Mathematics paper has become a part of the yearly exercise. This year, the parents in Delhi NCR have an added worry. The coinciding of the march to the capital of the JAT Andolan agitation and expected traffic chaos is adding to the panic situation. As the national capital braces for a JAT tide to hit the traffic and administrators put in place the many checks, it is anybody’s guess that the capital would be facing long and grueling traffic jams. Tomorrow the condition seems to be adding on. Not only is it a Monday, the CBSE Board Exam for Mathematics is also scheduled across various centers in the capital and NCR region. In the wake of the CBSE issuing an advisory, it is expected that situation might spiral out of control too soon. Many parents who have students writing the CBSE Board Maths Exam yesterday were getting ready to reach the center well ahead of time. “Better early than miss the exam,” said one parent.
We understand the situation and reaching the exam centers might create problems but at this hour it is extremely important for parents to exercise control and not give in to panic. The Delhi Traffic Police has already issued traffic advisory. More so, there are advisories at the Delhi Metro and it is expected that the Central Delhi and roads connecting to Central Delhi would have long jams. Also, please note that additional forces have been called in to the capital to ensure that the agitators do not reach the parliament. As such, traffic would be affected. Parents are accordingly advised to ensure that their wards reach the exam centers early on to avoid delay.
