CBSE Class 10,12 board exams 2025: CBSE makes big announcement every students must know

The CBSE board exam 2024-25 date sheet will include detailed information regarding subject-wise exam dates, examination timings, and crucial instructions for students to follow during the exams.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made a significant announcement that all students in Classes 10 and 12 should be aware of, as it concerns the upcoming practical exams and internal assessments According to the notice, the practical examinations/ IA for classes X and XII and the board’s annual theory examinations are scheduled to start with effect from January 1 and February 15 respectively. Well, this notice was published on October 23, 2024. The board has also released a circular regarding subject wise marks bifurcation of Class X/XII, Examination 2025. “Maximum marks allotted to each subject is 100 (One Hundred) with marks distribution among theory, practical, project and IA components as per the details given in the list,” reads the circular. Meanwhile, the board is expected to publish the CBSE date sheet for classes 10 and 12 anytime soon.

According to media reports, the board is likely to publish the CBSE date sheet by the end of November or the first week of December 2024. However, it has not been confirmed by Dr Sanya Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, or the board officials. Students can access the CBSE Class 10 date sheet and CBSE Class 12 date sheet directly from the official website, cbse.gov.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the schedule for practical exams and internal assessments for Classes 10 and 12. In winter-bound schools, the practical exams are set to be held from November 5 to December 5, 2024. For all other schools, the practical exams will commence on January 1, 2025.
