New Delhi, Mar 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully conducted the English Board exam 2018 for Class 10 today. The students who took examination said that paper was easy and not lengthy.

The students coming out of the examination hall claimed that all questions were from the syllabus and easy to understand. The examination started was from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Students were happy to see fairly easy paper. However, some students claimed that some sections in the question paper was bit difficult.

Teachers who examined the question paper said that overall it was scoring apart from literature section. The question paper was divided into three parts–Part A was unseen passages, part B was grammar and Part C was literature which students found to be bit confusing. Meanwhile, students are expecting good marks in the paper

Lakhs of students every year registered for Class 10 examination. The students will sit for Science paper on March 16. The class 10 exams will end on April 4 and the Class 12 exams will end on April 13. Students who have appeared for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam said that the English question paper was lengthy but easy. The questions were direct and did not have much difficulty in answering them.

Recently, the board has also provided one-time passing criteria relaxation to Class 10 students. The students will have to achieve 33 percent overall to pass, instead of 33 percent separately in the final written test and internal assessments.
