The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) has released an important notice for the Class 10th students. According to the notice, CBSE Class 10th science question paper has been divided into three (03) sections i.e. Section A, Section-B and Section-C. Section-A is Biology, Section-B is Chemistry and Section C is Physics.
Similarly, in the case of Social Science, the question paper has been divided into four (04) sections i.e. Section-A, Section-B, Section-C and Section-D. Section- A is History, Section-B is Geography, Section-C is Political Science and Section-D is Economics. The CBSE Class 10th sample question papers of both science and social science can be downloaded by visiting the official website of CBSE Academic website https://cbseacademic.nic.in/.
Before appearing for the class 10th examination, students must follow these important instructions.
“Schools are therefore requested to kindly ensure that required practice is done by the students in advance to ensure that they are not making any mistake when writing Board examinations. Schools can also include these instructions in the Pre-Board examinations,” reads the notice.
The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) will conduct the Secondary School Main Examinations (Class 10th Board Exam) from February 17 to March 10, 2026. The board exams will commence on February 17, with Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Standard scheduled for the first day. The board has released sample question papers for classes 10 and 12 for the academic year 2025-26. The Board has released the marking scheme along with the sample paper. All those students planning to appear for the Secondary School Certificate Examination(Class 12) and Secondary School Examination(Class 10) next year can download the sample paper from the official website – cbseacademic.nic.in.
