The CBSE board class 12 Math and Physics papers which had lead the controversy and agitation by students, parents and teachers now continues, as the scores for Maths and Physics papers has agitate class 12 students once again. Students expecting to score above 95% have scored 71%, which has lead to dissatisfaction amongst students. Earlier the CBSE board had issued an official notice in which they had informed students that the difficulty level would be taken care of by the board. Class 12 CBSE board teachers have informed that the students have recorded poor marks in both subjects and there has been no show of leniency by the board. This year, though the results have been poor for Maths and Physics papers but the overall pass percentage has been increased by 4.90 percent. Last year, 82.66 was the pass percentage which has been surpassed this year. Students can check their results on official websites of CBSE board; www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.
As per the official data 13,73,853 students had appeared for class 10 CBSE board examination this year, a hike of 3.37 per cent as compared to last year. While 8,17,941 boys for the exam, 5,55,912 girls appeared for the exam. Last year, 13,28,970 students had appeared for the examination. For class 12 board, 10,40,368 students had appeared for the exam, 6,07,383 of whom are boys. The percentage increase of total students appearing is 1.01 as compared to last year, the statement said.
