CBSE Class 12 Maths Board Exam 2018 Analysis: Easy But Lengthy

Students said that mostly questions were asked from NCERT books.

New Delhi, Mar 21: The Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE) conducted the Mathematics Board exam 2018 of Class 12 today, March 21. As per the reviews, many students found the Mathematics paper easy but lengthy. While most of the questions in the class 12 Maths paper were from the syllabus, they took more time to solve.

The teachers, however, said that the paper was balanced. Teachers said that around 60% questions are direct from NCERT textbook and only 2-3 questions require a thorough reading for understanding.

Generally, mathematics paper are difficult every year but this year students found it to be easy. Students coming out of examination hall were having happy faces. They said that questions took time to solve as the paper was lengthy. Questions required a lot of workings and calculations to reach the answers but students said that mostly questions were asked from NCERT book.

This year CBSE Board Exam 2018 almost all papers were fairly easy and moderate. Students are hoping that the remaining papers will be easy and they can score a good percentage. Students should be able to complete it within the given time period.

The Mathematics paper started at 10:30 AM and ended at 1:30 PM. The exam was conducted at various centers across the nation. A large number of candidates appeared for the exam. CBSE Class 12 Board examination 2018 ends on April 13, 2018. Over  28 lakh students are expected to appear for Class 10 and 12 exams.

From Delhi,  2,89,958 students have enrolled for Class 10, whereas 2,50,736 candidates have enrolled for Class 12.
