M Gayatri from New Greenfield Public School (Saket) has topped the CBSE class 12 exams  held in March 2015 with 99.2%. The CBSE topper from Commerce background secured 100 percent marks in mathematics, Business Studies and Accounts. She  secured 98 marks in English while in Economics she secured 98 marks.  She revealed that she used to study for about 5- 6 hours. The second position went to Maithli Mishra of Amity International, Noida. This years the girls  performed better than boys in the CBSE Class 12 results.The pass percentage of girls was 87.57 as compared to boys’, which was 77.77 per cent. Overall, Thiruvanathampuram region recorded the highest pass percentage of 95.41. The pass percentage in 2015 was 82 per cent as compared to 82.70 in 2014. The total number of candidates who took the CBSE Class 12 examination was 1,040,368, which was an increase of about 1.2 per cent over that of last year. The photocopies of the Senior School Certificate Examination 2015 CBSE  Class 12  evaluated answer sheets will be provided to the candidate(s) requesting for it and only to those candidates who have applied for verification of marks. Applications will be accepted by the Board from June 13 to June 17.
