CBSE CTET 2018: The online registration for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) has commenced from August 1 and will continue till August 27. The application forms for CBSE CTET 2018 is available on the CTET official website- ctet.nic.in. Candidates willing to take the examination for various posts at the primary and middle school level may visit the website and submit the complete application form latest by August 27 by 5 pm in the evening. At least two papers of CTET 2018 will be conducted and all the questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives. Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking. Paper I is for the those who want to apply for the post of teacher for classes 1st to 5th. While Paper II is for the candidates who intend to be a teacher for classes 6th to 8th. It must be noted that a candidate willing to sit for both the posts will have to take both Paper I and Paper II.

Paper I will continue for a two-and-a-half-hour and will consist of subjects like- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Compulsory), Language II (Compulsory), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. While Paper II will consist of Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and Language II which will be compulsory. Apart from that, Mathematics and Social Studies/Sciences paper will be taken by those who will have opted likewise.

Steps to apply for CTET 2018 Online Application Form:

Step 1: Visit the CTET official website- ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link which reads- “Apply Online”.

Step 3: Fill in the online application form and note down your registration number.

Step 4: Upload scanned images of latest Photograph and Signature and pay the exam fee.

Step 5: Take a print of the same for future reference.
