CBSE CTET 2019: The application for the CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 will close on March 5. Therefore interested candidates are advised to apply soon at the official website, i.e., The examination is scheduled to be held on July 7, 2019.

The last date for payment of exam fees is until 3:30 PM on March 8, 2019. Candidates can pay the application fee either through online or offline modes.

Follow the steps below to apply for the CBSE CTET 2019:

Step 1: Log in to the official website of CTET –

Step 2: Click on the link which says ‘Apply Online.’

Step 3: Enter all the necessary details in the application form. Do not forget to note down your registration number or application number.

Step 4: Upload the required scanned documents including your signature and latest photograph.

Step 5: Now pay the exam fee either through debit card, credit card or e-challan.

Step 6:  Generate the confirmation page and take a print out of it for future reference and record.

Note: The CBSE has also come up with desk help to help the candidates. If the candidates face any issue with downloading the confirmation page, they can ask for help from the CBSE helpdesk.

Meanwhile, the correction window will be made available from March 14 to March 20, 2019.

Following are the various fields in which candidates can make corrections:

1. Name

2. Mother’s Name

3. Father’s Name

4. Category

5. Date of Birth

6. Differently Abled Category

7. Paper opted (Paper I or Paper II)

8. Subject for Paper II

9. Language opted

10. Name of the Institution/College/University from where B.Ed Degree or Diploma has been pursued.

11. Address

The candidates can visit the Joint Secretary of CTET Unit only on working days. They can visit from March 14 to March 20 between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Notably, candidates need to carry the proof of the payment i.e., the Bank Statement or a copy of the candidate’s Challan.
