Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results of CBSE JEE Main 2016 in 2 days April 27 at jeemain.nicin. The All India Ranks will be declared on or before June 30, 2016. The JEE Main 2016 Rank Card will be available after declaration of AIRs. Candidates are required to note that the display of Answer Key and OMR sheets will be done from April 18, 2016 to April 22, 2016. The CBSE JEE Main 2016 Pencil-Paper Based Exam (Paper 1 & 2) was held on April 03, 2016 while the JEE Main 2016 Computer Based Test was conducted from April 09, 2016 to April 10, 2016. JEE Main is the first stage examination for admissions to IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and ISM (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad. More than 13 lakh candidates appeared for this national level exam for admissions to 31 NITs, 18 IIITs and 18 GFTIs. Top 2 lakh candidates of JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, which is the second stage of entrance test for admissions to prestigious IITs and ISM. The Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs. The States of Gujarat, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State Level Examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) – 2016 application form online.
