Meanwhile, Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora have topped the CBSE Class 12th examination by scoring 499 marks out of 500. Girls outshone boys in this year’s Class 12th exam. Three girls secure the second position: Gaurangi Chawla of Nirmal Ashram school, Rishikesh Aishwarya of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rai Bareilly and Bhavya of BR SK International Public School Jind Haryana have scored 498 out of 500 and bagged 2nd position. There are 18 students in the third position who scored 497 out of 500. Out of the 18 students, 11 are girls.

Trivandrum has topped among states by recording a pass percentage of 98.2. Chennai came in second with 92.93 per cent and Delhi came in third with 91.87 per cent.
