CBSE Supplementary Exams 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the detailed guidelines for conducting practical exams for students appearing in the Supplementary examinations 2025. The candidates who are preparing for the examination must note that the practical exams will be held from July 10 to July 15 for both Class 10 and Class 12 students placed in the Compartment category under specific conditions. The supplementary examinations for Class 10 will be conducted from July 15 to July 22, while the Class 12 exam will be held on July 15.

These Students Can Appear:

Class 12 students who are marked as Repeat in Practicals (RP) will appear for practical exams only during the schedule of supplementary exams. Their previous theory marks will be retained and carried forward.

Class 10 students marked as Repeat in Both Theory and practical (RB) will appear for both theory and practical examinations. It is important to note that if any student has missed the Internal Assessment and was marked absent, they will be awarded pro-rata internal marks based on their performance in the theory section of the supplementary exam. No re-conduct of Internal Assessments will be allowed.

Exam Centres?

• Regular candidates: Exams will be conducted in their respective schools.
• Private candidates: Practical exams will be held at the theory exam centres. If facilities are lacking, the concerned Regional Office will arrange an alternate venue.

Here are some of the key details:

• For class 12, the external examiners will be appointed by the Regional Offices
• For internal examiners will be from the schools themselves.
• Schools will handle internal arrangements, with Regional Offices stepping in for external examiners if needed.
• Students must report to their schools or examination centres with their result copy and admit card by July 7, 2025
• Marks must be uploaded by schools or centres on the same day as the exam. Once submitted, marks cannot be modified.

The schools must note that they should compile a subject-wise list of examinees and coordinate with the Regional Office for the timely appointment of examiners. Regional Offices will maintain centre-wise and subject-wise records, appoint external examiners, and ensure the smooth execution of the exam schedule and result submission.
