CBSE UGC NET 2015 is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, December 27, 2015 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at various exam centres across the country. Candidates who are appearing for this exam need to know in detail about the schedule of this examination. This exam will be conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the eligibility for assistant professor only or junior research fellowship & eligibility for assistant professor, both in Indian universities and colleges. CBSE will conduct NET in 83 subjects at 88 selected NET examination cities spread across the country. The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedure prescribed by them. The award of JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor both or eligibility for Assistant Professor only will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of NET. However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for Assistant Professor will not be considered for award of JRF. Paper I of the CBSE UGC NET 2015 exam will begin in the first session at 9.30 am on December 27, 2015 and continue till 10.45 am (1 ¼ hours). Candidates will have to attempt 50 questions out of 60 in paper I which consists of 100 marks. Paper II will begin in the second session at 11.15 am on December 27, 2015 and continue till 12.30 pm (1 ¼ hours). Paper II consists of 50 questions which are all compulsory. Paper III will begin in the third session at 2.00 pm on December 27, 2015 and continue till 04.30 pm (2 ½ hours). Paper II consists of 75 questions which are all compulsory.
