New Delhi, April 2: The last date for online registration of UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018 is April 5 i.e. Thursday. The aspiring Candidates who have not filled their application form need to fill on or before last date. The  Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct examination for UGC-NET for junior research fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor will be conducted on July 08. The notification was released on the official website  cbsenet.nic.in. The CBSE on the behalf of UGC conducts NET to assess candidates and select them for Junior Research Fellowship and for the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates are required to secure at least 55 percent marks in masters degree from any recognised universities or institutions. There is five percent relaxation for OBC, Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability(PwD) category and transgender candidates who have secured at least 50 per cent marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree or  equivalent examination.
