New Delhi, Mar 5: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally released the notification for CBSE UGC NET 2018 examination. The notification has been released by the board on its official website cbsenet.nic.in. The application Forms for the same will be available on the official website cbsenet.nic.in from March 6. The date of UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor, as per the notification, has been set for April 5. The CBSE on the behalf of UGC conducts NET to assess candidates and select them for Junior Research Fellowship and for the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates are required to secure at least 55 percent marks in masters degree from any recognised universities or institutions. There is five percent relaxation for OBC, Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability(PwD) category and transgender candidates who have secured at least 50 per cent marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree or  equivalent examination. The candidate age should not be over 30 years as on July 01, 2018.
