PSEB Board Exam 2020: The Punjab School Education Board on Friday became the fifth major board to postpone Class 10 and Class 12 board exams till March 31 in the wake of coronavirus pandemic. Until now, the CBSE, RBSE, CISCE and MPBSE had postponed the crucial annual exams, among several other educational institutes. Putting out an official notification, the Punjab board also announced that all practical board exams for Class 8 and the scheduled written exams for Classes 5, 10 and 12 have been postponed till March 31 and will be rescheduled.



Notably, on Thursday Punjab reported the country’s fourth death due to coronavirus. As a result, the Punjab government decided to suspend public transport services from Friday midnight, besides restricting public gatherings to less than 20.

Meanwhile, all other states have also directed schools to postpone exams in view of the escalating scenario. The JEE mains exam, CBSE and the ICSE school exams in all states will be rescheduled.
