New Delhi, Aug 6: CBSE has released the online application forms for the CTET 2018 exam along with the revised scheduled in its official website After 40 days of wait, candidates got the chance to apply for the CTET Exam 2018 on 1st August 2018. CTET 2018 was earlier scheduled for September 16, 2018. Though there is a modification in the exam date, no notification of the revised exam date has been released. In fact, the column for the CTET 2018 exam date has been left blank. According to officials, the CBSE will declare the examination date at a later. 1. The date of submission of Online application through CTET website is between 1.08.2018 and 27.08.2018.
2. The last date for submitting the online application form is on 27.08.2018 upto 17.00 hours.
3. The last date of payment of fees through E-challan or through Debit/Credit card is on 30.08.2018 before 3.30 pm.
4. The final verification of payment of the fee by the candidates is on 4.09.2018.
5. The online corrections, if any, in the particulars uploaded by the candidate is between 6.09.2018 and 10.09.2018.

Candidates must download Admit card and bring valid ID proof (any of the following documents such as PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Ration Card, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.) to the exam centre.

CTET Paper II will be conducted in the morning session, while CTET Paper I is to be conducted in the afternoon session. Candidates who are appearing for the examination are advised to check the official website regularly for updates on the exam dates. Kindly take note that the CTET 2018 will NOT be conducted on September 16, 2018. The date of release of the admit card is yet to be released.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is the Teacher Eligibility Test for the candidates who have a degree of B.ed or any other equivalent teaching programme. CTET is the qualifying exam for getting appointed as a teacher in government, private, Navodaya, or Central schools.  CTET is the mandatory eligibility exam for Teacher Recruitment. Approximately 1 million of the candidates appear for CTET Exam in every session. The pass percentage in CTET Exam is very low every year.
