CTET 2018 (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) will be conducted today i.e. December 9. Students should note that the exam comprises of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, the former would be appeared by those sitting for the Primary level, while the latter would be taken up by those going for Upper primary level. Further, the timings for Paper 1 are from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and Paper 2 would be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Candidates must not forget to carry their hall tickets and reach their respective examination centres on time. Also, Lucknow and Gorakhpur candidates must make sure that they reach the exam venue before time as President Ramnath Kovind is scheduled to visit the state, which might cause traffic congestion and diversions. In order to avoid inconvenience, students from both the aforementioned cities should reach prior to their exam timings, a leading daily reported.

The CTET will release the answer key 2018 on the official website, once the exam is over. The cutoff of CTET 2018 is 60 per cent. Furthermore, students will need to score 60 per cent marks or more in order to qualify the CTET eligibility.

The result of the CTET 2018 exam would be announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the date for which is not out yet.

CTET exam is conducted to recruit teachers for Classes I to VIII of central government schools like Kendriya  Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas etc.
