CTET Admit Card 2024: CBSE CTET E-Admit Card For July Session to Release Soon

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) will conduct the 19th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on July 7, 2024. Prior to this, CBSE is expected to release the CTET Admit Card 2024 for the July Session. The https://ctet.nic.in/ will host the CBSE CTET Admit Card. Candidates can download the CTET July Admit Card by entering his/her application number and date of birth.

The candidate must show, the Admit Card downloaded from the CTET official website for admission in the examination room/hall. A candidate who does not possess a valid Admit Card shall not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.

CTET Exam Timing For Paper-I, Paper-II 

The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 136 cities nationwide. PAPER-II will be conducted between 9;30 AM to 12:00 noon; meanwhile Paper-I is slated to be held from 2:00 PM to 04:30 PM. Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

CTET Marking Scheme

All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking.

CTET Passing Marks

A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.

CTET Reporting Time

The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre at 7:30 AM for Paper – II and 12:00 PM for Paper– I i.e. 120 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidate(s) who report(s) at the examination centre after 9:30 AM in PAPER-II and after 2:00 PM in PAPER- I shall not be allowed to appear in the examination.

Prohibited Items You Cannot Carry to the CTET Exam Centre

Candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the centres

• Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil
  Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen drives, Eraser, Calculator, LogTable, Electronic Pen/scanner, Cardboard etc.
• Any communication devices like Mobile phones, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health band etc.
• Any Watch/Wrist watch, wallet, goggles, handbags, Gold/artificial ornaments etc.
• Any other item which could be used for unfair means and for hiding communication devices/gadgets like Camera, Bluetooth device etc.
• Tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks are not allowed to be taken into the examination rooms duringexamination hours.
