Gorakhpur, April 17: Gorakhpur’s Deen Dayal Upadhyay University (DDU) Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) 1st year Mathematics paper was allegedly leaked on Monday. The Maths paper which was scheduled to be held today was cancelled by the DDU officials after reports surfaced that the paper had been leaked prior to the exam.
The news of the paper being leaked spread like wildfire and was soon viral all over the social media. This is not the first paper which has been leaked in Gorakhpur’s DDU. Apparently, another Chemistry paper of B.Sc 2nd year students found its way out and was also released hours prior to the examination which was held yesterday.
It is being speculated that the Chemistry paper got leaked on Monday morning, hours before the paper was scheduled to take place. The Chemistry paper was conducted on Monday afternoon and had students taking the examination. DDU University officials said that a unanimous decision regarding Chemistry paper will be taken once it is confirmed that paper was indeed leaked. DDU Exam Controller Dr. Amrendra Singh said that the university officials received the news of Maths paper being leaked and hence cancelled the exam altogether. He said similar news has been received about B.Sc 2nd year Chemistry paper and a probe is underway to ascertain the same. Re-exam date will be announced once it is confirmed that the paper was leaked, he said.
