According to a notification released by the Directorate of Education (DoE), the application will begin on Saturday, while the last date of submitting application forms for nursery class admission for 2019-20 session is January 7. Some of the criteria as mentioned by schools for admission include the distance of student’s residence from the school, sibling quota, parents being alumni of the school, single child, first child etc. Also Read - Containment Zones in Delhi Dip to 293 | Check Full List

The first list of selected kids would be out on February 4, while the second, would be released on February 21. In case of more seats, the third list will be issued on March 15. The admission process will conclude on March 31.

According to a guideline, no private schools in Delhi can charge more than Rs 25 for the admission.

Furthermore, 25 per cent seats in pre-school, pre-primary and Class 1 will be reserved for economically weaker sections/disadvantaged groups (EWS/DG).
