Delhi University Admissions: Delhi University (DU) has announced that the registrations for the undergraduate (UG) courses will close on Friday, i.e., September 19. The seat allocations are not based on the regular admission process, as there’s going to be an on-the-spot mop-up round. As the name suggests, this round is conducted in the physical mode to fill the required vacant positions in several undergraduate programmes. The interested candidates must register for the admissions on the official website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in by paying the mandatory application fee.
Delhi University, unlike previous rounds of selection, will not take into consideration the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores. For the on-the-spot mop-up admissions for undergraduate (UG) courses, the eligibility will be based on the Class 12 grades, along with equivalent examinations, as mentioned in the DU Bulletin of Information (UG) 2025. Persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) will be considered for filling the supplementary quota seats.
This is possibly the last chance or opportunity to get admission in Delhi University (DU). The important dates for mop-up admissions to undergraduate courses are September 19 and 23. The registrations close on September 19 at 11:59 PM. The physical mode of seat allocations will begin on September 23.
Interested candidates, to fill out the application forms, must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 at ugadmission.uod.ac.in
The necessary documents for admissions are the Invitation letter printout, CSAS (UG) Application Form, Class 10 & 12 marksheet and certificate, government-issued ID, and reservation certificate (if any).
The selected candidates will receive the emails with all the necessary details, including the time and venue for reporting.
