New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct fresh examination for students who couldn’t appear for papers in parts of Northeast Delhi that were gripped in violence. Today, the CBSE Class 12 exam was supposed to be held for English Elective, English Elective C and English Elective Core. Also Read - CBSE Postpones Class 10, 12 Board Exams Scheduled For Feb 26 in North East Delhi



The exams were postponed at 73 centres in North East Delhi and seven centres in East Delhi.

In the wake of the violence in North East Delhi, the board had on Wednesday postponed Class 12 English exam which was scheduled to be held today. The decision from the CBSE came after considering the request of the Delhi government and to avoid inconvenience to students, staff and parents.
