The Delhi University online registration process for all categories and quotes for the admissions of Ph.D, M.Phil, postgraduate and undergraduate courses for the 2018-19 academic session begins today. The Delhi University or DU admission registration process will be done online and the varsity will open the window for registration process on May 15 from 6 pm, as per the officials. While the registration for Post Graduate (PG) courses will begin from May 18, the application process for the M.Phil and Ph.D courses will start from May 20.

This time, the Delhi University’s administration is making all the efforts to channelize the online admission process and avoid technical glitches. Last year, technical glitches in the website surfaced right from day one of the admission process. The online portal crashed thereafter and many aspirants failed to access the website. “We have opened all tabs and ensuring zero technical glitches,” Officer on Special Duty (Admission) Ashutosh Bharadwaj was quoted as saying.

Below are some important dates to remember:

May 15: Registration for the undergraduate programmes

May 18: Postgraduate programmes and postgraduate diplomas in cybersecurity and law

May 20: Registration for Ph.D and M.Phil Programmes

The aspirants registering for the courses can log on to the official website for more details- du.ac.in.

To facilitate the students with the registration process, the Delhi University’s administration will set up a centre in the North Campus, DU Students Union (DUSU) President Rocky Tuseed mentioned.

Last month, new features were added in the online form by the administration. Also, the 2018-19 admissions will include providing a single portal for applications for both merit-based and entrance-based entry into undergraduate courses. As per reports, the varsity will hold ‘Open House Sessions’ between May 21 and May 29 (except Sunday) at Conference Centre near Gate number 4 on North Campus. “Open Days will have two sessions – 10 am to 11.30am and 12pm to 1.30pm. On these days, information about registration, admission process, schedule and other related information would be provided,” the statement mentioned.
