GATE 2025 Registration to Begin on Aug 24; Check Exam Dates, Fee, Year-Wise Question Paper

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

GATE Registration 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Roorkee will commence the GATE registration 2025 in August at https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in/. Accordingly, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025; while the application process will begin from August 24. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities. A candidate is allowed to appear either in ONE or UP TO TWO test papers.

GATE Registration: How to Fill IIT GATE Application Form?

• Visit the official website: Go to the official website of IIT GATE at https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in/.
• Look for the GATE Registration Link: Look for the link, “Applications.” Click on it.
• Register Yourself: Click on the ‘Apply Online’ option. Register yourself on the portal.
• Fill GATE Application: Once you have registered yourself on the portal, fill up the GATE applications.
• Upload documents: Upload the necessary documents in the required format.
• Pay the GATE application fee: Depending upon your category, pay the GATE fee.
• Submit Application: Submit GATE applications and download a copy of it for future reference.

GATE Registration Fee

• During the registration process, female/SC/ST/PwD candidates (per test paper) are required to pay Rs 900.
• During the registration process, All other candidates including foreign nationals (per test paper) are required to pay Rs 1800.

GATE Year-Wise Question Paper

Candidates can download the year-wise question paper from 2019-2024 at https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in/download.html. There are no international centres for GATE 2025 examination. Desirous foreign or Indian nationals who are interested in appearing for the GATE 2025 examination will have to travel to India to appear for the test.
