The results for CBSE, CISCE, and various state boards have been announced recently. This year, several students have performed exceptionally well, with many scoring more than 90 per cent. Meanwhile, IAS officers Smita Sabharwal and Tina Dabi’s class 12 marksheet has gone viral on social media platforms.
IAS officers Tina Dabi and Smita Saberwal excel in their respective fields. Both are also quite active on social media, where they share glimpses of their personal and professional lives. Both IAS officers Tina Dabi and Smita Saberwal have cracked the Civil Services Examination(CSE), conducted by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). Both are widely admired and with a strong following on social media.
At the age of 23, in her reportedly second attempt, Smita secured an impressive All India Rank of 4 in the 2000 UPSC CSE. Tina Dabi obtained an impressive All India Rank(AIR) of 1 in the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2015. But who scored more marks in Class 12? Read below…
Smita Sabharwal finished the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination(Class 12), in 1995. Her school was affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. She secured a Grade A in the SUPW & Community Service. Her subject combination included English, Hindi, Economics, Structure of Commerce, and Principles of Accounts — a well-rounded mix that laid a solid foundation for her future in civil services.
According to her CISCE ISC(Class 12th)mark sheet, Smita Sabharwal scored 94 out of 100 in both English and Hindi. She scored 90 out of 100 in Economics in her CISCE Indian School Certificate Examination of 1995. Smita Sabharwal excelled in her Class 12 board exams, scoring 86 out of 100 in Structure of Commerce and an impressive 97 in Principles of Accounts, earning an ‘A’ grade.
If the best of five subjects are considered, Smita secured 92.2% in her Class 12 exams. This means that the sum of her marks in the top five subjects, when divided by five, gave an average of 92.2%. She scored 461 out of 500.
If the best of four subjects are considered, Smita secured 93.75% in her Class 12 exams. This means that the sum of her marks in the top four subjects, when divided by four, gave an average of 93.75%. She scored 375 out of 400.
On the other hand, Tina Dabi completed her schooling at Jesus and Mary School in Delhi and went on to graduate from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, with a degree in Political Science. If media reports are to be believed, Tina cleared the UPSC exam on her very first attempt at the age of just 22. According to media reports, she scored an impressive 93% in her Class 12 board exams, including a perfect 100 in both Political Science and History. If media reports are to be believed, Tina Dabi completed her senior secondary education under the CBSE curriculum.
