IAS Srushti Deshmukh’s parents played a key role in her UPSC success; Know how

Srushti Deshmukh cracked India’s prestigious UPSC examination in 2019. Srushti mentioned in her interviews that her parents had played a key role in her success. Srushti’s parents, Jayant and Sunita, created an atmosphere at home that encouraged her to study and finally she achieved her target. 

Srushti never faced any kind of pressure over choice of study from her parents. Srushti’s mother is a school teacher and her father is an engineer. They gave a conducive environment to their daughter and she excelled with her hard work and dedication by clearing the nation’s toughest examination. 

At present, Srushti is posted as CEO, Zila Panchayat, Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh. She often recognised her parents’ contributions who backed her decisions that led to a major success of her life. 

The IAS officer also mentioned her grandmother who had seen potential in her and she encouraged her for the UPSC goal. Undoubtedly, her family’s support had helped her maintain a balance between engineering studies and UPSC preparations.
