IBPS Clerk Mains Exam: The IBPS Clerk Main Examination was conducted on Sunday, January 20, 2019, by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The exam began at 10.00 AM and continued till 12.40 PM. The  IBPS Clerk Mains 2018-19 exam followed new question types and patterns. As per the analysis, the Quantitative Aptitude section was the most difficult section. While the English Language section consisted mainly of Reading Comprehension and was based on new pattern questions. The Reasoning section was also difficult and lengthy. On the other hand, the level of General Awareness section ranged from easy to moderate. The Main examination consisted of only Objective tests of total 190 questions. The duration of the exam was 160 minutes (2 hours and 40 minutes). It must be noted that the arrangement of the individual section is default by the server. The students had to answer the questions within the specified time as there was a fixed time limit. The level of the English Language section was moderate to difficult. English Section was based on new pattern questions and multiple (Single) questions on Reading Comprehension. The Quantitative Aptitude Section was the most difficult section of the exam. There were not single questions from  Number Series and Simplification topics. The most lengthy section of the exam was the Reasoning and Computer Aptitude section.

The General Awareness section is one of the easiest sections of the exam. The major chunk of the questions was asked from Current Affairs which asked questions from the past 6 months. There were around 4-5 questions from Banking Awareness and 5-6 questions from Static General Knowledge.

The IBPS Clerk 2019 Mains result is expected in April.
