ICAI Common Proficiency Test (CPT) Registration to Begin From April 4, Apply at icaiexam.icai.org
Registrations for ICAI CPT to begin from April 4.
New Delhi, April 01: The registration for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Common Proficiency Test (CPT) will begin from April 4 onwards. The last date for filling the application forms is April 26. Interested candidates can apply before the deadline at icaiexam.icai.org.
If candidates happen to miss the deadline, a late fee of Rs 600 would be charged but they would be still allowed to fill in the application forms till May 3. While Rs 600 is the late fee for the Indian examination centres and the one in Kathmandu, Rs 650 approximately would be charged for all the other overseas exam centres.
How to Register For ICAI Common Proficiency Test
- Visit the ICAI’s official website- icaiexam.icai.org.
- Click on the relevant link.
- Enter the details and click on the submit button.
- The registration process will be completed.
- Take a printout of the same for future reference
Candidates are advised to visit the ICAI’s official website and submit the application fee online itself. While the application fee for CPT is Rs 1000 for centres in India, it is Rs 1700 for centres in Kathmandu and over Rs 19,000 for centres outside India- such as Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai, and Muscat. The CPT exam will be conducted on June 17 in two sessions. The first session will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second session will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The CPT is an objective type multiple choice questions based examination. Moreover, candidates will have the liberty of choosing either English or Hindi as the medium of examination. The examination will be held at 196 different exam centres across India and in five overseas examination centres.
