The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to declare results for ICSE and ISC i.e class 10 (ICSE) and class 12 (ISC) on May 6, 2016 at 3 pm. According to source from council’s official, the results would be out two weeks in prior this year. This newly introduced technology captures and digitalises marks mentioned at the top of answer sheet scripts. It encrypts and transfers the data to the council’s cloud-based servers directly from the evaluation centres. The CISCE is the first ever exam board in the world to have introduced this new very helpful technique. Candidates can click here to read the official notification by the CISCE board. The result of the ICSE and ISC board exam 2016 will be available via careers portal of CISCE, the official website of the council and via SMS. Candidates would also be able to access their results by logging onto the CISCE website www.cisce.org and opting for the Results 2016 option. In the year 2015, total number of 71,141 students had appeared for class 12 ISC board exams, out of which 38,659 were boys and 32,482 were girls. The total number of students had represented 909 schools across India. In 2015 approximately 1,59,738 students had appeared for the ICSE examinations from India and abroad.
