Kolkata/Ranchi/Aizawl: The annual meet of the West Bengal Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association (IIMCAA) was held at in Kolkata. The series of meets that began in New Delhi on February 17 will see 21 such get-togethers and will culminate on April 13 in Hyderabad and Dhaka.
West Bengal Chapter President Subir Bhaumik was present for the meet as were Prof Subir Ghosh, Ashish Chakrabarti, Pramod Kumar, Rajasthan Chapter President Amrita Maurya, National Organisation Secretary Ritesh Verma and Chapter General Secretary Piyali Chatterjee.
On the occasion, Chapter President Prasad Sanyal spoke about the need for networking among the batches of IIMC. He also discussed the new initiatives of IIMCAA Medical Assistance Fund and IIMCAA Scholarships.
IIMCAA Jharkhand Chapter meet
At the Jharkhand Chapter meet, Sanyal said IIMCAA was expanding and apart from various cities of the country, its chapters had started in Singapore, Nepal, Bangladesh, UAE and Uzbekistan as well. Nearly two dozen alumni, including media professionals, teachers and public relation officers got together on the occasion and shared their memories. IIMCAA Jharkhand Chapter President Manoj Kumar, Vice President Amit Gupta, Vice President Dr Dev Vrat Singh, General Secretary Pranav Pratyush Das, Treasurer Kumar Rajesh and Organisation Secretary Pooja Oraon were present.
Mizoram sub-chapter meet at Aizawl
Mizoram sub-chapter held its meet in Aizawl where the sub-chapter President Irene Lalruatkimi headed the event. Others who graced the occasion included Mizoram sub-chapter Treasurer Ezrela Danadia Fanai and executive member Angela Lalrituangi.
