IIT JEE Advanced 2018 Merit List: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Joint Admission Board will issue a fresh merit list for the Joint Entrance Exams Advanced (JEE) 2018. The board would be following a Human Resource and Development (HRD) directive to release a fresh list with twice the number of students in each discipline in all reserved categories. The notice issued by the HRD ministry read that it is the “policy of the Government of India that all the reservation category seats in all disciplines are filled and no vacant seat is left after counselling for admission in IITs. HRD Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said in a tweet that, “responding to requests from students & IIT Community & to proactively ensure that all reserved seats are duly filled, I have directed @IITKanpur conducting JEE (advanced) to make available candidates, strictly as per merit, twice the number of seats in each category. .If necessary by releasing a supplementary list. (sic).”
The IIT JEE Advanced Result 2018 was declared on June 1o. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the IIT JEE Advanced Result 2018. The CBSE held the IIT JEE Advanced 2018 examination on May 20 this year. The candidates who secured an AIR upto 2,24,000 had appeared for the exam. IIT JEE Advanced was conducted by IIT Kanpur this year.
