IIT JEE Advanced Result: The IIT JEE Advanced Result 2018 has finally been declared. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the IIT JEE Advanced Result 2018. The results have been published and made available to the students who had appeared for the examination on the official website- jeeadv.ac.in. The candidates who had appeared for the same may check their results at- jeeadv.ac.in. Apart from checking the official website, students nay check their JEE Advanced Result on their cell phones as well. But this is restricted to those who had got their mobile numbers registered, will receive their scores on their mobile numbers as text messages.

The examination scores, as well as the All India Rankings (AIR) of JEE Advanced 2018 will be released by IIT Kanpur today itself. Category-wise AIR of successful candidates will be available at- jeeadv.ac.in will also be released. Meanwhile, students may follow these steps to check their result on the official website.

IIT JEE Advanced Result 2018: Steps to check your result at jeeadv.ac.in:

Step 1: Go to the official website- jeeadv.ac.in.

Step 2: On the home page look for link and click on- ‘JEE Advanced Result 2018’.

Step 3: Enter relevant details such as your registration number, date of birth and submit.

Step 4: View and download your result.

Step 5: Take a print out of it and keep it for future reference.

The CBSE held the IIT JEE Advanced 2018 examination on May 20 this year. The candidates who secured an AIR upto 2,24,000 had appeared for the exam. IIT JEE Advanced was conducted by IIT Kanpur this year.

Reportedly, the overall JEE Mains cut-off to be eligible for JEE-Advanced was dropped this year and had been dropped last year as well. As per CBSE, the cut-off in general rank was 74 as compared to 81 in 2017 and 100 in 2016. While candidate registration and choice filling for academic programs under the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will begin on June 15, JoSAA will announce the first seat allotment on June 27.
