New Delhi: Budget carriers including IndiGo, AirAsia and Jet Airways have come up with lucrative offers on their domestic and international flights in order to attract customers. The airlines have declared these offers amidst high competition in the Indian civil aviation sector.
Following are some of the exclusive discounts granted by the carriers:
IndiGo’s Flight Ticket Offer:
The price of IndiGo’s flight tickets on its domestic routes starts from Rs 899, while that of the international routes starts from Rs 3,399. All the non-stop flights on both the domestic and international network can avail IndiGo’s Rs 999 and Rs 3,399 offer.
The bookings based on the offer began on January 9, 2019. The offers which will expire on 13 January 2019 are valid for travel between January 24 and April 15, 2019. According to a statement issued by IndiGo airline, “Limited inventory is available under the offer and therefore discounts will be provided to customer’s subject to availability and at the sole discretion of IndiGo.”
AirAsia’s Flight Ticket Offer:
The starting price of AirAsia’s one-way domestic flight tickets begins at Rs 999. The fares of the airline’s international travel fares start at Rs 2,999.
The validity of AirAsia’s Rs 999 and Rs 2,999 offer is from January 21 to July 31, 2019. The offer which began on January 7, 2019, is valid for air travel bookings from 7 January to 20 January 2019. To avail the discounts, customers can book through the website airasia.com or using the AirAsia mobile app. Travellers from over 130 destinations across Asia, Australia and other continents will stay connected through the ticket sale, said the airline.
Jet Airways’ Flight Ticket Offer:
Offers up to 50 per cent discount can be availed on the base fare of Jet Airways Première and Economy tickets on select flights in Domestic and International routes. The offer is applicable for selective destinations in Europe on Jet Airways flights and the codeshare partner flights of Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The ‘global sale’ offer of Jet Airways is valid for tickets booked till January 11, 2019.
India is expected to rank the third largest in the aviation market by 2025, said International Air Transport Association (IATA). IATA also stated that the Indian aviation is likely to grow in double digits in the upcoming years.
