Indian Army: The Indian Army is inviting applicants for permanent commission in the army. The organisation released the official statement on October 7 and is welcoming the applications until November 13. The selection process aims to fill 90 vacancies. The range of salaries varies for different positions like Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier, Major General, etc. The cost of training will be borne by the state. How to apply for the Indian Army Recruitment?

  1. Visit the official website of joinindianarmy.nic.in
  2. Click on the link for the “Officer Entry Apply/Login” section on the homepage to fill application form
  3. Fill out the required registration details along with documents
  4. Pay the registration fee (if applicable)
  5. Print the form for future reference

What is the eligibility?

Unmarried male candidates who have passed their Class 12 with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with having appeared in the JEE Mains 2025 exam. Candidates should be at least 16½ years and above 19½. At present, 90 vacancies are open for 90 vacancies across different roles. 

What’s the salary structure?

The candidates can check the salary structure below.

  • Lieutenant General HAG + Scale Level 16: Rs. 2,05,400 – Rs. 2,24,400
  • Lieutenant General HAG Scale (Lt Gen) Level 15: Rs. 1,82,200 – Rs. 2,24,100
  • Major General (Maj Gen) Level 14: Rs. 1,44,200 – Rs. 2,18,200
  • Brigadier (Brig) Level 13A: Rs. 1,39,600 – Rs. 2,17,600
  • Colonel (Col) Level 13: Rs. 1,30,600 – Rs. 2,15,900
  • Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Level 12A: Rs. 1,21,200 – Rs. 2,12,400
  • Major (Maj) Level 11: Rs. 69,400 – Rs. 2,07,200
  • Captain (Capt) Level 10B: Rs. 61,300 – Rs. 1,93,900
  • Lieutenant (Lt) Level 10: Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500

The students will be given the Engineering degree if they complete the four-year training period. The complete training cost is Rs. 13,940, which will be taken care of by the state. However, the cost stands to be recovered from the candidates in case of their withdrawal or resignation.
