Indian Bank has recently released a recruitment notification for filling up 324 Probationary Officer (PO) vacancies. The exam will be conducted in various stages. The Preliminary phase will be conducted on January 22, 2017. Candidates can download the call letter of Indian Bank PO Prelims on January 11, 2017. After the candidate qualifies all the stages of the recruitment process, they will become eligible for Admission for Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance Course Offered through Manipal Global Education Services 2017-2018.

The application process has started from December 6 and the window is still open. Candidates can apply online till December 22. The details of the recruitment including age limit, selection process, educational qualification, application fee, etc can be checked online. Pre exam call letter can be downloaded from January 1, 2017. The training will be conducted from January 1 – 19. After appearing for the online Preliminary exam, candidates can check the result of the same on January 30, 2017. Indian Bank PO Mains Exam call letters can be downloaded on February 16, 2016. Indian Bank PO Preliminary exam will contain questions from Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the exam will be 1 hour. In the Mains phase, questions will be asked from Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) and Computer Knowledge. In the descriptive test, candidates will be checked on English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). Marks allotted to Mains phase will be 200. A large number of candidates will appear for the Indian Bank PO Exam at various centers across the nation. After completing all the stages of the recruitment process, candidates will become eligible for pursuing POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BANKING AND FINANCE.
