The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) advanced exams 2016 results are scheduled to be declared today, June 12, 2016 at 10 am on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Finally, the long wait is over, the students can check their results at jeeadv.ac.in. The candidates will not receive personalized rank cards after the declaration of the results,but the All India Ranks of successful candidates will be made available on the official website. For admission  to engineering courses, the exam was organized by IIT Guwahati in collaboration with the Joint Admission Board 2016 across various centres throughout the country. How to check JEE Advanced Result 2016:
1. Visit the official website of JEE Advanced i.e. www.jeeadv.ac.in
2. Click on the  ‘Jee Advanced Results’ section
3. Enter required details and click on the ”submit” button
4. Result will be displayed on the screen

IIT Guwahati has said that getting a rank in JEE Advanced 2016 will not ensure admission to IITs or ISM, adding, rank lists will be prepared based on the aggregate marks in JEE (Advanced) 2016. On June 5, 2016 IIT Guwahati had already released the official Answer Key to the JEE Advanced 2016 on its official website  and the Optical Response Sheet on June 1, 2016. The written exam, held on May 22, 2016 which consisted of two papers: Paper I from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper II from 2 pm to 5 pm. Candidates were required to attempt both the papers in order to qualify for the admission. According to JEE Advanced 2016 guidelines, aspirants can attempt the exam twice only, which should be in two consecutive tries.
