JEE Advanced Result 2018: The IIT JEE Advanced Result 2018 has been declared and Pranav Goyal from Panchkula has topped the prestigious examination by scoring 337 out of 360. Among the females, Meenal Parekh has topped by scoring 318 out of 360. Her overall All India Rank (AIR) stood at 6. The other toppers were Sahil Jain of Kota who secured AIR 2 and Kailash Gupta of Delhi who secured AIR 3. Meanwhile, JEE Mains topper Suraj Krishna secured AIR 49 in the JEE Advanced Exam Result 2018.

The other toppers include who secured AIR 1 in various categories are- Mavuri Siva Krishna Manohar from Vijayawada in the OBC-NCL category secured AIR 1, Aayush Kadam from Kota in the SC category secured AIR 1, Jatoth Shiva Tarun of Hyderabad from ST category got AIR 1, CRL-PwD candidate Manan Goyal from Patiala yoo secured AIR 1 as well as OBC-NCL-PWD candidate Vijendra Kumar from Jehanabad and Raushan Kumar, SC-PwD from Vaishali.

Apart from category wise, toppers of all the five IITs have also been announced. IIT Kanpur saw Ayush Kadam with CRL 78, IIT Delhi’s Sahil Jain with CRL 2, IIT Bombay’s Rishi Agarwal at CRL 8, IIT Guwahati’s Prashant Kumar at CRL 150 and IIT Kharagpur saw KVR Hemant Kumar Chodipilli with CRL 5.

The results have been published and made available to the students who had appeared for the examination on the official website- jeeadv.ac.in. The candidates who had appeared for the same may check their results at- jeeadv.ac.in. Students may follow these steps to check their result on the official website.

IIT JEE Advanced Result 2018: Steps to check your result at jeeadv.ac.in:

Step 1: Open the official website- jeeadv.ac.in.


Step 2: On the home page look for link and click on- ‘JEE Advanced Result 2018’.

Step 3: Enter relevant details such as your registration number, date of birth and submit.

Step 4: View and download your result.

Step 5: Take a print out of it and keep it for future purpose.

The CBSE held the IIT JEE Advanced 2018 examination on May 20 this year. The candidates who secured an AIR upto 2,24,000 had appeared for the exam. IIT JEE Advanced was conducted by IIT Kanpur this year. While candidate registration and choice filling for academic programs under the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will begin on June 15, JoSAA will announce the first seat allotment on June 27.
